Dr. Matthew Elliott, President and Board Member

Matthew serves as President of Oasis and Project Director for the Africa Study Bible. He has a BA in Economics and MA in New Testament Studies from Wheaton College, and a MT in New Testament and PhD in New Testament from University of Aberdeen. He was ordained at College Church in Wheaton, Illinois under Dr. Kent Hughes. He is the author of Faithful Feelings: Rethinking Emotion in the New Testament (InterVarsity UK/Kregel) and Feel (Tyndale House). Matthew, his wife, Laura, and three children reside in the Chicago area.

Natalie Cameron, Assistant to the President and Digital Media Manager

Natalie assists the President in daily administrative tasks, fundraising, and travel coordination, and leads the development of Oasis and the Africa Study Bible’s digital media presence (social media, website, etc.). She is passionate about effective communication and has a heart for ministry both personally and professionally as seen through her various experiences in churches, office settings, and adult and children’s ministries. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and lives with her husband Bradley in Wheaton, IL.

Jeremy Johnson, COO and Vice President of Publishing and Distribution

Jeremy serves Oasis as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Publishing and Distribution. A 30+ year veteran of the global printing and publishing industry, he is dedicated to equipping God’s people with the Bible and life-changing resources that they may be complete and prepared for every good work (2 Tim 3:17). He is responsible for sales, marketing, the various aspects of publishing, and provides financial and operational support for Oasis. Jeremy lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Amy and three children.

Nyambura Kamau, Publishing Coordinator and Africa Study Bible Launch Manager

Nyambura coordinates the country launches of the Africa Study Bible, and assists the COO/VP of Publishing and Distribution in his daily activities and in the implementation of Oasis’s publishing and distribution operations. Nyambura also preaches and teaches at her local church and is passionate about developing contextualized biblical discipleship resources that root Christians in their faith. Nyambura is currently completing her Master of Divinity at International Leadership University in Nairobi. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies from Regent College, Canada and a BA in Management Studies from Moi University, Kenya.

Laura Livingston, Resource Development Officer

Laura is the Resource Development Officer, connecting people passionate about Satisfying Africa’s Thirst for God’s Word with Oasis. During 34 years of living in West Africa she was a guest lecturer, scholarship administrator and director of the women’s educational program at the Yamoussoukro Bible Institute and the West Africa Alliance Seminary (FATEAC), director of a trauma healing program, and on the board of the NGO Women, Light and Life. She has a BS in Biblical Education from Columbia International University, a MA in Theological Studies from Liberty University Seminary and is Consecrated to Ministry by the C&MA.  Laura and her husband Jeter live in Wheaton, IL and have four children and eight grandchildren.

Tammy Martin, Accounting and Systems Manager

Tammy is the Accounting and Systems Manager, and manages Oasis’s accounting. She is responsible for maintaining various information systems that track inventory, and royalty payments. These systems help deploy Oasis titles across multiple distribution channels. She has more than two decades of experience in office administration and management. Tammy and her husband Joe live in the Nashville, TN area and have two children and three grandchildren.

Hannah Rasmussen, Associate Acquisitions Editor

As Associate Acquisitions Editor, Hannah identifies potential authors and works with them to craft a finished book. Hannah grew up as a missionary kid in Tanzania and Kenya. She studied English and Sociology at Macalester College, and is pursuing an MA in Biblical Studies part-time at Africa International University in Nairobi. Hannah was an editorial manager of the Africa Study Bible and is the author of Good News about Gender: A Bible Study for Young Adults.
